OK so 2 things I hate about the Ford Engineering department. The fact that a cam sync gear can fail and allow your engine to self destruct. The other is that they thought there was no other way to put the mud flaps on the truck but to drill a hole in each fender and in the bed. I took the mud flaps off my truck the day I bought it but just pushed the doo hickies back in.

Now what I am wanting opinions on is..... Has anyone ever put the eagle eye l.e.d. lights in those hole? AND what do you guys think if I put them in there on a dedicated switch to use when lighting up the sides would be handy?

Sounds like a good idea for backing up.
Will give you a wider range of light and be able to see on the sides of you a little at night

I like it!

I do alot of 4wheeler trail riding so I thought it would be handy to have them on when loading and unloading at night. I wired them up to the dome/dimmer light switch since most of the time I turn on my cargo lights anyway.
