Default Can't secure window trim all the way to passenger door. Any ideas?

On my 97 ranger I can't secure the trim piece on the bottom of the outside passenger window. Any ideas? There are clips but I'm at the bottom of the clips and they won't go any further.

I had to install one of those things also. Each of the clips has three prongs, the center prong is curved out. I thought it went on the outside of the top ridge but actually all three prongs go inside.

You also have to loosen or remove the mirror (held with three nuts; you have to remove the inside door panel to get to them) and place it over the window trim.
