I didn't black out my headlights. I wouldn't do it. I had a buddy with headlight covers on his mustang. At night you literally could not see because of them.

Oh wow that's a little discouraging. So for the headlights what would you suggest? I don't think I want to swap the front end but I want them to look badass. I mean I will swap if absolutely necessary but I really would like to try something else. Any ideas?

Any pics of your truck? I would suggest cleaning them real good. Possibly getting replacements and doing a retrofit with projectors and halos. I'm gonna be doing 6 plasma halos in my girlfriends 07 tahoe. From oracle. 2 in each headlight and 1 each fog.

Tried to get all angles, sorry it's dark outside. So what would the lights you're talking about look like? Still new to all this so I'm trying to learn what all that is you're talking about lol.

I'm also wanting to do something with the grille. I am eventually getting rid of the camper shell once I can sell it I will get a tonneau cover, and I also plan to get a nice black paint job eventually.

How much would it cost, and where would I look for one? Would the 2001 ranger fit the 2001 b3000? I know it's a lot pf questions but I'm planning on keeping this truck forever and maybe even pass it down to my kids if I'm ever so unlucky to have any. So I really want this thing perfect in my mind.

Of course. It will be a classic. Right ?

If it is repainted a different color, it won't be an original classic someday.

Search the forum for projector retrofit. Peiple make there own headlights. Of course it's not cheap. But the outcome is lights that equal to factory hid projectors.

Yeah me too. I'll probably make new lenses for my headlights and retrofit some when I get extra money.

Yeah hopefully I can figure all this out, and make them look as good as those. Can you do similar things with the tail lights or is blacking them out all you can really do?

Yeah, it's all good though. Those ones you showed me were pretty badass so hopefully mine turn out as well as those when I start upgrading. In your personal opinion what do you think looks better? Red or black? I'm seriously considering getting a nice black paint job rather than a red touch up, Idk though.

For what your gonna pay it isn't worth it to change the color of the truck. Your gonna pay a lot to get a good paint job with a color change.
