Anybody know why when I install my ken wood unit in my trucks the speakers get crackly over volume 19? It happened in my old truck and i did ghetto wiring but I want to have better sound in this truck. I tried the stock speakers and aftermarket kickers and they both do it!

I had 1 ground wire that wasn't connected and it helped a little but it's still crackling!

And with the stock radio it's gets loud as hell no problems! Any ideas?

Bad grounds, ground loops, bad speakers, speakers being underpowered, etc...
I would start with running new wire to the speakers

ehhhh I rewired the old truck and it worked ok but it's just kinda weird it happened with both trucks!

Oh and all the speakers are working fine the stock radio powered em all no problem

Good thing about doing shingles everyday is they made a good cover so I could paint the handles!

I can never understand why going from my 01 f150 to my 03 f150 there's a $50 rise in my insirance! Progressive doesn't know either...

maybe because it's worth more so if you total it it would cost them more? I doubt that's it though

I'm 21, legally single, no accidents or infractions! I do have to keep some ridiculously high commercial insurance for work and I'm on my own plan so idk why they would change it! I already pay 330 a month for insurance that doesn't cover me or my truck at all!
