I need a topper for my 2005 ranger and I can not find one . Id like a store to order from or to go into , it has to look perfect and then id need to find a place to put it on for me , any suggestions ?

Anything from 93 to present will fit. If you buy brand new it will run about $1000. I suggest craigslist and find one that you can have repainted if it does not already match. Installing is easy, just some clamps or hooks.

A lot of retailers sell used ones too. Go to the web sites for the cap makers and look up dealers/distributors in your area. Lear is one of them but there are others. I think ARE is another brand. Fiberglass will be more expensive than aluminum and they look nicer but it depends on what you are going for.

junkyards, you can get some nice ones. believe it or not, i posted an add on craigslist. And the guy called me, so I went to the junkyard and there were a bunch of really nice toppers. But they were all full size =[

I found one on craigslist , it is almost black and looks pretty good that color so it will work till i can have it painted red , thanks everyone for all the help !

look around at dealers you will be surprised at what you find .
i found one that was the wrong order from a dealer so he let me have it for $400 dollars.

looks good!! i'm glad you got a flat top cap instead of one of those wedge angled roof looking caps. paint should be cheap, take it by your local maaco or body shop. did you get the keys to the locks with yours?
