Ah , I see. I know a guy that works for the fire department. He has a 2007 4x4 that is red and it has the silver grille. He put lights behind the grille, he can control their pattern and color from inside his truck. He also has a siren on it. He recently got it registered so he can use his lights, red and blue, and his siren legally whenever he is called in. It's pretty cool that he was able to do that.

Re: Looking to buy KC Lights
Why not do both? I like the look of the traditional offroad lights myself so I have them on my bumper. And one day when I win the lottery I'll put a bar across the roof. Best of both worlds.

Are light bars as hard to wire as KCs or Hellas?

Probably easier because there is one positive wire and one negative wire for the whole bar, instead of two wires for each KC. Even still, I do like the look of the big spotlights and they still put out a decent amount of light. Great for trails or I use them as "deer lights" when I'm driving along a backwoods highway at nighttime lol

I got mine off of Amazon, think I paid about $150 for the pair. 100W spot beam KC Daylighters. The second pair were my dads Daylighters from his old 72 Jeep Commando
