I have seen Rangers with a chrome-looking grilles. I'm not talking billet, but they are the stock shape. Mine is not shiny, and I like shiny!
But, I search for "chrome Ranger grille" and all I get is billet. Did these chrome-looking grilles come stock on a particular trim package in '93-'94? Where can I get one? The pictures attached is what I have.

XLT's came OEM with chrome front grilles in 94.

I have an XLT and I can confirm this is not true

When I was looking up grilles I found a bunch on ebay. Don't know how hard is to find for your year. The ones I found were stock in shape just chrome.

20 years is a lot if time and a lot of owners. I bought a new 94 XLT in 94, it had a chrome grill on it. I have the original window sticker for it, I am looking at it now; they come with chrome grills and front and bumper in chrome standard.

Was it a 4x4? That might be why. I looked for a 93-94 grille for a 4x4, and I think I found what I was looking for.

This is correct on the 4x4. I cannot confirm a grill difference between 4x2 and 4x4 XLT's; I can say that in 1994, adding 4x4 was about a $5,000 (retail price) adder, and that was in 1994 dollars not 2014.
