Working on gathering parts, paint, vynals, and such for the rest of the build LOL. I use this as an everyday truck, but it's also the only truck I have for hunting and general off road fun. Hoping to make it much better than stock!

Below I quote what the guy said about it when everyone started asking. it's on Ranger Forums Dot com since the link won't work. I like it. I want a rear bumper done up too similar in style to the stock bumper in that it'll have some standing space, but it'll be able to take a good hit. I'll have a hitch mounted to it, couple of shackles, and a spot for a CB antanna.

wolfman00: Honestly, I just got bored and wanted a bumper. I had no plans, just pictures of road armor and trailready bumpers as a guideline. I looked at how they were engineered, their similarities of stress points, so forth. It really is not hard at all, just take your time and get some plywood to make a template. Once you have the bumper off just take some rough measurements of width, depth, how far the frame mounts you want it, and height. From that point, just tweak and modifiy as you go until you have it where you want it.
Once that is done and you have your 1/8 or 3/16 plate ( i used both) transcribe the face measurements first, cut that out and bend it up. After that is just a matter of keeping it square and filling it in with plate. Use big peices if you can as it makes your finishing a hell of a lot easier.

I need to find someone to do that around where I live actually. I don't have the tools, or the know how, to do it. BUT, if I find someone to do it, if you like, I'll pass you the info and I am sure they'll be happy to make one.

Regarding rear bumpers, I'm thinking of getting something like this:

With a hole on the right side for a CB antenna and a hitch welded to the bottom. Then, IMO, it would be perfect. When I go to put hurculiner into my bed, I'll do any stepping surfaces on the bumpers as well.

If not for the 2010 bumper with fogs, i would have wanted one similar to that with the winch integrated in the middle part, those types of bumpers look awesome!!

Well, I HAD Fog lights. But, eh, there's a story to that. You see, when I bought the truck, about 9 years ago, it was basically brand new. It only had 7k miles on it in 2001. So, after I bought it, the wife and I move to the Bitteroot Valley in Montana. Well, one day I was on my way home from work, and saw this field I always wanted to tromp through, and, being a moron, I went into that field at about 40mph. Once I got back out onto the road, I noticed something was dragging. So, I stopped, and then saw my lower, false bumper with the fog lights was hanging off it, barely. So, there goes that. LOL Not one of my smarter choises. My wife tried to beat me with that bumper she was so mad at me LOL.
