Default Standard-Cab Bed Fit My Extended Cab?

Okay, I promise I did a search, and I can infer the answer from other similar questions that all 6-ft beds are interchangeable (with a few added bolt areas on 08+).

Bottom line, I found that underneath my spray-on bedliner is a very large section of deteriorated bed floor--so bad that it feels like a trampoline when stepping on it and it crunches due to the rot.

I found a style-side bed that I'd like to replace my steppy bed with (I know, I need the filler neck, bumper and wiring harness), but the Craigslist poster specifically claims that it's off a regular-cab truck and will only fit a regular-cab frame. I'm calling BS, but just want a final word that it would fit my extended-cab frame.

Thanks, folks!

You need to make sure its a 6 foot bed. If its a 7 foot bed then it will only fit a long bed frame (regular cab only option). If it is a 6 foot it should fit no prob.

^^^ this. Long bed rangers are actually a single cab with a 7ft bed on an extended cab chassis.

Make sure it's got the tail gate too. You need everything from the cab back to swap.

Damn...it appears to be a long bed looking at the one pic--dude described it as "full size." I guess I'll keep looking--either that, or seek out a patch panel to weld in there.

thanks again!
