Default Easy question about power dome hood

Anyone know if this here air dam around the hood spacer is supposed to have a counterpart on the other side of the cowling? This pic shows my Sport which has the powerdome hood. It doesn't overhang at the front like the other bodystyles do.

I noticed it soon after I bought it but was never really bothered by any noise except off/on whisteling.. Always meant to ask about it.
Yes you have my permission to take this as an indication of how lazy I am.
If it turns out that one is also supposed to be battery side, then it is missing from the factory. I think it is supposed to have two.

It's an 08. I gotta add this stuff in my signature.

2008 4.0 Sport 4x4.

This detail is not in the books. No photos cover this area of the hood.

04+'s have 'em. Timmy's 05 and Marie's 08 both have it. They're just.....there. lol. Older model hoods have a full rubber thing that goes across the underside of the hood....full length. What's it's purpose? To cause us to ask WTF!?

Mine doesn't have them. My friends '02 had them. So I think it's just kinda random, whether you have them or not. But if you do, there should be two of them.

Ok so regular hood.

I want my left side wind baffle damn it. Game on Twin Cities. Game on.
Or maybe I should feel lucky that I was "chosen" to at least have the one.
