i wouldnt use wd-40 in the door seams, i would use motor oil. you dont need much and it lasts alot longer than wd-40

WD-40 is too thin. It would work tempararily. Spraying used engine oil would be better. I've been told that some people use some on the bottom, inside of the doors as well. It is supposed to be effective...

I have used motorcycle spray chain lube on several cars/trucks over the years with good results. The spray is designed to wick into small openings, then the light, volatile carrier evaporates leaving a thick greaselike coating inside. Just spray it into the back side of any body pinch welds or sheet meet skins like doors, hood lip, rocker panels and trunk/tailgate. The spray can comes with a tube to direct the spray right where you want it. There will be an odor but it goes away soon. Also, some clean up may be needed from any drips that make their way out of the drain holes in the doors or other body panels. Not a big deal.

Speed (Two Guys Garage) recomends this stuff
http://sharkhide.com/mpinfo.html
Marketed as a marine product mainly for aluminum but they state it will work on any metal, I'm going to give it a try.

Probably be better off to spray undercoating into the door inside seams.
