How does it attach? The driver's side one on my '93 pops up everytime I roll my window down and then back up. wouldnt take much for someone to pop it out and jimmy the lock and get in.

They won't mess with your trim to open your truck... The metal along the back of the molding bows out slightly to catch the door when it is pressed down. Sounds like yours is bent.
