So my stock fog lights have been broken/water logged for some time now, but I'm kinda lost as to what to replace them with. New OEM replacements seem to be pretty expensive (unless I'm looking in the wrong place), so I wanted to know what others have replaced theirs with. I'm thinking tryin to find a decent set at the junkyard might be my best bet, but I'm open to other suggestions as well.


It's an '02, so they're the circular style lights.

used ones you could try searching on car-part.com and sort by distance but those lights tend to be in poor shape since they're down low and always end up fogging up.

you could get new aftermarket ones on ebay, amazon, 1aauto.com, or certifit.com.

Although new, I'd still seal them on top of what they come with with some silicone just so they don't fog

I held the aftermarket next to the OEM during the install, and couldn't tell any difference.

At the time, there was a listing for both left & right in a set, but I can't seem to find that anymore. (The amazon seller I bought from was "Auto Lighthouse Plus")
(BTW, the lights are quick & easy to replace, just three screws on each, from the back)

The bolt pattern is different (think mirror image) from left to right.
There's 3 bolts, almost evenly spaced around the light.

I'm new at this, should have read the instructions closer. I may be in the wrong place too. I want to put fog lights on my 2006 Ranger. Is the wiring already there? I removed the plastic insert on bumper and the space is almost square. Where can I get OEM light with wiring? Where would I put the switch if I wanted to have run anytime lights. Any suggestions on what and where to buy? Need help. Thanks
