Post black clear coat peeling

need feedback what to do eventually wil repaint my baby but clearcoat is peeling in some places small places i know i can seal with wax,but i have a larger area i want just clearcoat stripped off to black paint i have some detailing n autobody knowledge and ive thought adout stripper could i water down paint stripper and time duration it sits n safely just remove clearcoat or does anybody have ideas i can ponder n consider.

hmm checked those other old treads no helpful info n sanding is not an option for now want to keep all of paint under clear coat n bodyshop repaints to expensive right now any new idea or knowledge to help please.

there's not much you can, if you want to get rid of the clear coat only, you would need various sand paper and a paint depth gauge (but then your paint will look like crap with in a couple months), other then that you're pretty much SOL until you get a rapaint...

like i said older tread suggested that dont want to ruin paint uderneath yet what about a buffer and compound its flakeing pretty good lol.

My black 87' ranger is doing the same. Mine is beyond being fixed. I'd have to sand it all off and repaint everything. Mine is mostly on the hood.

Dang forgot about this one sry missed ya man yea mines on top a cab but heat this summers pealin it all slowly by spring just get a buffer n rub rest off nice single cabman.
