Default bull bar that fits a 97 ranger?

Hey I got a 97 ranger\b4000 and looking for a manufacturer that makes a bull bar\grill guard to fit it. I cannot find anything on Google that will fit exept for 98 and later models.

Is it possible to make them fit on? Is it a matter of drilling a couple holes?

Please help thanks

I've got a 97 ranger and i had to buy a stainless steel ARIES bull bar # 35-3009 for models 98-07 rangers from http://realtruck.com.. As you can see from my pics it fits fine.. But you have to weld or drill holes in the frame and brackets.. I had a friend weld my brackets on my truck..

Thanks man.. realtruck.com told me that the bull bar wouldnt fit because the frame on my 97 ranger didnt have the holes to match the ones on the brackets.. I told them as long as you can weld it on, it would work!!! The bull bar was 232.00.. They do have a black powder coat one for alot less..

I'd be interested in the black powder coat more actually, I like chrome but it wouldn't suit the look I'm going for I don't think. I've got a MIG welder at home.. Think that would do it? Or would I need to go with a heavier welding system
