Default bed rails
i want to buy some bed rails.
will these kind of caps off of a 1999 fit a 2004?

Default Will 2001 Bed Rails Fit On A First Gen
Hey Members, I think these would look great on a first gen. Will they fit or has anyone installed them on a first gen?

my old stock bed rails went to my dad's 86. They fit perfectly

remember, once you put the rails on, the top of your bed will get scratched up. this is becuase the rails are held on by metal clamps that attached directly to the top part of the bed. I took my rails off once when the truck was only a year old and scratches were all over, so I put the rails back on.

Yea i had some scratch's from the plastic part rubbing my bed. 9 years worth of it. But i covered them up with the new flat bed rails anyways. Might do a spray on bed liner right there also. Havn't made up my mind yet.

Hey Ranger / Machine, I bought a pair and hope they arrive before the weekend.

Thinking I will put a good coat of wax on first.

Any other recommendations for protection from the metal clamps?
