remember, once you put the rails on, the top of your bed will get scratched up. this is becuase the rails are held on by metal clamps that attached directly to the top part of the bed. I took my rails off once when the truck was only a year old and scratches were all over, so I put the rails back on.

Yea i had some scratch's from the plastic part rubbing my bed. 9 years worth of it. But i covered them up with the new flat bed rails anyways. Might do a spray on bed liner right there also. Havn't made up my mind yet.
