if you only have 40 check out www.ddmtuning.com

theyre $29.95, i suggest a 6000k bulb if you just want a slight blue tint

but because i know someone will say something, they are constantly out of stock because of how cheap their prices are, many people on here run their lights and are satisfied with them, including myself.. just letting you know their customer service isnt the greatest. id call in to place the order, but expect maybe a week or two to get them

Thanks for the site.. Should i get those from that site or get them from Ebay because they have more selections. But i am also wondering is the 35w really bright? Because the 55w you got to pay extra for.

35 watt is fine. The 55 watt doesn't look any brighter IMHO.

Even when you ride with them on in the day time they look sick

Don't go over 8k. After that the color is purplish and not too bright. I'm running 8k in my heads and fogs and they are very nice.

Don't order from ddmtuning. I've heard multiple episodes of shipping problems. People didn't get their lights for like 3 weeks or something. I got my set from HID4U on Ebay.

I can't complain about ddm. I ordered some replacement bulbs and had them fairly quick.

NO HID KIT's ARE DOT APPROVED, so all are illegal unless they are factory installed. As long as you stay in the spectrum of white light 4000k to 6000k you'll be fine. 8000K are in the blue spectrum so buy at your own risk. There are three legal charges for these lights:

-displayed red/blue lights on vehicle - in CO it is a M1, 1st degree misdemeanor-same DUI, a criminal offense (Usually used for 10000K and up to discourage police impersonators)

-Prohibited headlights - Headlights that are not DOT approved. Traffic infraction - $30ish fine (hardly ever written)

-Improper headlights - Any forward facing lights that are not white, amber or any color in between. Traffic infraction, $50ish fine (used for first time offenders with blue HID', and 8000K)

Again this is in CO but I would expect the same general laws through out the states.

My lights are 8000k. I've been pulled over 3ish times, IIRC, all of them at night, all of them with hid's on, no tickets at all. In CA.

I like your Lights in your Default. I mean i see alot of cars/trucks in Georgia today with the bright HID lights. I dont know how many times they been pulled over and what not. But i am thinking about getting the 8k ones but i do not wont too much trouble from the police.. Well any trouble from them. I think i should be fine but i dont know. I really want them because it makes the truck look cleaner and cool at night time.
