yes, it will be a direct swap, but you have to use it all. lights, header panel, grill, hood. the bumper is optional. it will swap, but you don't have to. this is from 98+. 93-97 is the same, but you need the core support and fenders as well.

I so wish there was a way to not do it but the bad news is yes you have to get the core support out i have seen it all over here and everywhere else too. i am in the middle of getting all the parts needed i would say buy a new core support off ebay and not waste the time of trying to cut one off they are cheap and this is not a cheap mod.

It's definitely a pain to swap a 93-97. You have to basically buy the whole front end of a newer model.

Might sound a bit "Ranger-racist" but I only REALLY like 93-97's.

That's where i am with mine. but i don't want to get an aftermarket one due to fit issues. need to find a new oem one.

98-current requires the header panel, grill, lights, bumper, and hood. fenders and core support are the same for 98+

YOU don't have to swap hoods.

depends on what year. 2009 grill won't fit with a 98 hood.

i could just get all this stuff from a 01+ at junkyard, but my question is, will it just bolt up or will i have to do re-fabricating??

98+ is bolt on. 93-97 to a 98+ is bolt on, except for the core support.
