Question flying a flag?

hello all. i was wondering about the legality of flying a flag on your truck. I've herd about something about height limits. and was wondering if cops would give you any issues about it "distracting drivers." I know i see a bunch of people doing it. additionally I'm in Florida if that helps. thanks in advance.

I ran a standard flag in the back of my truck fine. Nothin but compliments. My set up also included no drilling into my truck. Was a pretty slick set up. I say go for it. If someone gives you a hard time for flying a flag. Shame on them.

I think hes more concerned about it being legal or not...not whether or not people will give him a hard time for it.

If a cop pulls me over for that I may or may not tell him to pound sand.

And he may or may not give u a ticket or haul your ass to jail and have your truck towed and impounded.

There are reasons for such rules and regulations. Several years ago someone with a flag and flagpole on their truck was driving and their pole came off and went thru the windshield of the car behind them killing the passenger.
This is why they limit and regulate this.
