So I am stuck with a problem I want to put a bedliner in my truck I am not sure if I should save the cash and get Line X ir save the 600 bux and get one of those bedliners in a paint can. HAs anybody ever used those bed liners in the back of a truck if so are they any good or is it something really cheap?

Re: Bed liners
I did it on my old Toyota pickup. It is not a durable as lineX or Rhino and it takes a lot of prep and time to get even. But if you an to take the time to do it right it is worth the $80 I spent. As a side note, I sold the truck in 05 and found it in a scrapyard in 07. The bedliner still looked good.

Re: Bed liners
Different dealers will charge different prices, Line-X is a contract thing. I was quoted 500 for mine. My preference, Line-X, I haven't seen anything yet that is close to as good looking, or as durable. I have it in the other truck, got it in 06, still looks good. My graduation present to myself is Line-X for the Ranger

amen to that. Im with this guy with the Line-X. my feeling on it is that I think Line-X and Rhino are both expensive especially if your a younger kid or in college and money is tight. It also depends on what you use it for, and if you hardly use it then why pay all that extra money for it to never be used and have fun with the bed bolts if for w.e reason you decide to need them undone. Like what was said above, the roll on kind is alot cheaper but can get the job done but it wont be as thick or professional in my opinon but if the beds hardly ever going to be used, who cares save the money. BUT if you do decide to get professional install done like Line-X or Rhino, I would go Line-X all the way.

Re: Bed liners
I asked other people who have a Ranger with LineX and asked the LineX dealer themselves and they say 600 and thats just going under the rails. My truck bed is used alot if i go the cheaper route it could be useful in reselling the truck with a bed liner.

Go Line-X, and check at other dealers too, Don't be afraid to travel a little for it if the deal is better then what you can get. But Line-X seriously is the best stuff in my honest opinion. 500 was for over the rails on mine. I always throw crap over the rails on my trucks so I need it. I think Tom has it half way over the rails and that looked good too. But I want the whole damn thing.
