Default Black Out Tail Lights Under 15$! looks professional & legal

Hello everyone, I could figure how to put the pictures step by step so i attached them. I used Rustoleum Lens tint, i bought it at autozone for 12.99!

Lets get started :

Step 1 - First you want to remove and clean your tail lights. I cleaned mine with windex and a clean white rag. You also may want to mask off the white part of your light with masking tape, I think it looks sharper.

Step 2 - Paint them in a well ventilated area, I did it in my open garage (this is the best way because you cant be around wind!) Shake the can for about a minute to make sure it is mixed well. I layed out newspaper about 4 feet so you have room to catch overspray. Now start spraying about a foot before the light and go over about a foot after, just to make sure you have even spray. I did about three coats at first, and let dry for an hour. Then i did two more coats just to make it a little darker. Be careful how much you do because if it is too dark you will get a ticket!

Step 3 - Let dry on newspaper over night. make sure it is still ventilated and away from anything that may fall into the paint.

Step 4 - Install the next morning. If you take your time and do it properly it should come out looking very nice. let me know what you think of mine!
