Xenon Headlights

I'm looking at replacing my stock headlights on my 2001 Ranger with the cool looking Xenon lights. I've found ones on ebay for a few bucks and Hellas in my Summit catalog for $30-40. Any info & suggestions appreciated so I get the best bang for the $. Thx in advance.

dont bother ordering from DDM unless you live within a half hour of them and can go to their shop to deal with their bullshit. took me a week longer than they said it would just to get mine, and theyre customer service is shit

Indeed, my buddy in WI had issues with ~3 week delays in gettting his kit from DDM. Get your kit from HID4U on ebay. They're legit and I got mine in like 4 days. Had them for almost a year now.

Those xenon bulbs you see on eBay are horrible. What you want is the actual xenon HID kit. Make sure you get the right thing.

I just got a return message from High Performance Bulbs.com & they have the conversion kits/bulb starting at $85 and "Fred" gave me the rundown on watts/color. I'll keep shopping, but for those of you that have done it, are there any glitches in installation-parts needed etc?

nope, HID kits are plug and play, theyre 50 bucks on ebay from a seller named Autoluminate, ive bought 2 kits from them and i love both of them

You have a picture of them 8000k's? Would love to see them

. I have 8000k Headlights and 12,000k Fog Lights from VVME.com. Been using there's for a good year and half and can't complain, but I'm hearing a lot of talk about this eBay seller Autoaluminate so talk to me guys

8k heads and when i had the 6k fogs in, havent gotten decent pictures of my 8's in the fogs yet.

Those are sick and where did you get them at? My 8's are looking whitish than that I like it. I need to get a kit for my dads car but don't want to go with the regular company again want to try somehing new so some help would be great thanks boss

autoluminate on ebay, both of my headlight kits (ranger and expo) came from him, but i got the fog kits from ddm tuning

Would I be able to get the same color like that if I buy his replacement bulbs "BUT" using a VVME 35watt regular ballast? Or would I have to buy another kit?

id just buy some bulbs, the color varies from manufacturer to manufacturer

But it's an okay to use the ballast I have from VVME? Yet getting I would say a better color than there bulbs?
