I saw a post that a guy had a 98 ranger front end on a 93 ranger body and was wondering if i read it wrond I would like to take my 97 ranger and change out the front left and right fender and front grill for a 98 or newer. If i can how a far up in year model can i go would love to know. I am loving the customizing thing right now thanks everyone for getting me into my ranger more. I have now found a new love for it.

You have to change the whole front clip (fenders, radiator support, header panel, all lights, bumper, hood, & valance panel).......

so basically go find one and get the whole fron end as far as fenders hood grill and tear the grill down to the frame and get all those parts too and i'm good to go. ha ha thats great it's just finding one thats wrecked with a good front end to salvage from. my frankin ranger is comming to life lol

most junk trucks are front end hits, i would try that but odds are you will be beeter off getting aftermarket parts

well i am not looking at doing this quick it will be a while so i don't mind finding one part at a time if you know what i mean money is tight i have the storage room and i can get them painted as i get them. on another note what are some good aftermarket sites to shop for body parts i live in shreveport louisiana and we don't have good parts stores here

I live in Detroit and know a few buds who run JY or buy test units! you cab also buy a flood damage trk for parts... theres a place in 3 rivers MI that deals with flood or salvage units... Try MICHIGAN TRUCK parts.com in westland MI or parts by weller.com they deal with all size trks!

ok one more question... in looking at the fenders I noticed that in pictures the fenders on the 97 look exactly the same as 98 through 2001 so am i crazy or blind someone let me know cause that would save me some money if i can keep the fenders and just change lights,grill and hood
