Plastic Trim Restoration
Hey guys what's up. I'm putting this up for those who don't know or haven't tried it yet. But amaze your friends and confuse your enemies.
Turtle wax is legit. The first trim restore product I've tried, mostly because I trust the turtle brand is one I always trust. But this stuff works great!
I used it on my side-view mirrors, my window trim and my door and tailgate handles. And it makes it all look slick and new!
So if your in the mood for makin that grey plastic black again. I say give this stuff a shot!

Re: Plastic Trim Restoration
Looks good. I have seen commercials for this stuff called "Wipe New". Kinda pricey at $20 a bottle.

Sorry but that product is shit. It doesn't last long, leaves a residue on the body, and makes the plastic look like complete shit when the product wears off.

Re: Plastic Trim Restoration
All goop crap that "restores exterior plastics" are junk. Give it a few weeks...it'll be gray. Give it a year or more, it'll be terrible unless you "coat" it every other day....without rain.

Residue on body? If your talking about body of truck like the hood its not ment to be used on it. I did my wife's headlights with it 3 months ago and still looks like when I put it on them. All about prep work.

I was talking about after it rains or after a wash. It depends on where you use it. Put it on the mirrors, it'll run down the door. Put it on the thing by the windshield wipers, it'll run down the fender. Put it on the grille, it'll run down the bumper and around the fender. Either case, it's a shitty product.
