Question Shocks: Bilstein or Rancho?

I wanna upgrade the shocks on my Ranger. I go off-roadin' every chance I get, but I'm not sure which shocks will be better. I'm thinkin' 'bout gettin' Rancho RS9000XL shocks, since they seem to be the best choice. I've heard Bilsteins are pretty good for on the road, but suck for off-road. Which would be better?

I am in the same boat I need new shocks for my truck. I'm curious what other people run.

For flying around on gravel roads, I have found the Bilsteins to be great. Not hardcore 4-wheeling, but they've been hit pretty hard quite a few times, and they're still working great.

Kyb Monomax's are pretty good as well. They are stiff when on road yet forgiving off road. They adjust fairly quickly.
