im looking to get a used shell for my truck but im having a hard time finding one to match my paint. has anyone repainted one themselves or know of a good paint and/or method of doing so so it doesnt look like crap

Get your paint code from sticker on door jam. Get paint, reducer, and clear. Prep shell, lightly sand and tape off windows. Shoot color and clear coat.

find a good paint store! dont rattle can it you ll never get the same color and it will look like a pos!

It's really hard to get an even coat on such a large area with rattle can. I was talking about getting the paint from an automotive paint store and shooting it with a spray gun. If you don't have the equipment and want to shoot it with rattle can, do a search online for the paint. I saw a site the other day that offered color match paint in a spray can, don't remember who it was tho.
