Default A few new touches to the exterior

I managed to get a couple things done over the weekend...

I did the hose clamp mod to the tailgate:

Sprayed on some bedliner (Duplicolor) to the lower rocker panels & up to the door sills inside.
Not the best pics, it was raining outside & the garage is too full to get a good long shot of the sides... I'll try to get some better pics when it warms up/dries up.

Still a little tape residue leftover, along with a nice coating of dirt from driving around today.

The tailgate mod keeps someone from stealing your tailgate in 10sec as they need a small wrench to get the clamp off before you can remove the tailgate. Goes on the passenger side pivot point and put the bolt in a way it's very difficult to tigthen / loosen

That is a pretty good idea. I just lock my tailgate but this would be a cheap alternative.

What are you using for a lock?

+1 on a lock but most of the handle locks are easy to break with a pull on the handle... I was looking at this one http://www.pace-edwards.com/Tailgate-Locks

Beat $0.79 mod you can do.

Also keeps the tailgate from falling off when you're wrestling something in the bed & trying to get the tailgate lifted at the same time.... it's happened to me a few times
