I thought about making one that is hitch mounted but I use my truck for work and I would want another y spoke rim for the spare and Matt you know how expensive they are

That's what I wanna do. Build a hitch carrier that will Carry a jack and stuff but will have a gate that will hold a tire and if you needed to get in the bed and open the tail gate it would swing open and be out of the way. And lock in to place when it's shut. It can be done. I wanted to make one that held a gas can too.

They are cool. But for the money not practical. You can build one to your liking for 3/4 less then the cost of those.

Re: Has anyone used a bronco 2 tire carrier on a ranger?
LOL> my only issue is that i have a cap, so i would have to swing it out all the freaking time to get into the truck. ..... but stilll thinking... every time i got to the yard, i look at the 3 bronco 2 there with the tire holder, or the few susukkkiiiisss.. with em.. rather keep it ford though.
