Default Power doors not working

My ranger came without power doors or windows. Last Christmas I had viper door locks put in, but now, they aren't working. They should lock when I start my truck, and unlock when I turn off my truck, and work with a remote, but nothing is working. Every now and then they work, but they don't stay working. Any ideas?

I would find the wires that are going to the lock actuators from the alarm box and use a test light to see if they are sending power to the actuators. If they are then the actuators could be bad. If they aren't then your brain might need to be reset. I have a viper alarm in my truck and the horn stopped working. I have no clue why. I can't stand it. Gonna get a compustar with remote start.

Check the wiring they put in. Check where they ran into the door and look if it's tiny ass wire they ran. Both doors act the same right?

Simple way to take your DVM and check the resistance of the wire.

^^^ Remove whatever it takes to gain access, like a door panel. Look under the dash and see if anything aftermarket looks damaged, disconnected, etc etc. Find the aftermarket wiring, follow it, see what they did and how they wired it, use the $7 at harborfreight DVM to check for voltage or an open circuit. Find and inspect the grounding and fix if need be.

I found where they wired it in under the dash. I wiggle the connectors, and the doors lock. Now I think it's just poor connections

That's awesome! Pull each connector apart and carefully inspect for damage, lose, anything that should not be or that would cause an unreliable connection.
