Default Billet or Honeycomb?

I just gotta nother ranger, a 98 black Splash, and I was going to do a grill conversion. Right now its the factory grille I believe painted black (not sure if that was factory or not.) I was hoping to put a chromed out billet in there and throw two KC's behind it, but What do you think would look better with them? The kinda 'theme' I got goin' right now is Black and Chrome, however I was thinkin' about eventually painting my truck midnight blue. Any Ideas?

Also, other than the junkyard of course, does anybody have any links to sites that I could possibly find cheap ones?

Pictures of the truck would help us determine which grill would look better. But IMHO, a color matched grill on a splash is the way to go.

I believe you, but I was confused momentarily by the link in your sig before I realized that must not be the truck you're talking about.

edit: Ah, I see updated sig

I figure you should do fine either way - traditionally the splash looks good with a colormatched grille, but if you find other details to show chrome/metal and tie in with the billet grille, the theme should work. If you do go that route, it should work fine with blue as well - look forward to seeing what you come up with!

what you posted says ranger splash/xl/xlt doesn't say specifically its a splash. I've never seen a 98-00 splash so im going to say its an XLT or XL
it would help if you posted pics of the truck itself anyway.

but i think you should just go billet grille

Alright :P Do you know of any cheap-o ways to go at it or a nice site?

And I have the pictures its just this stupid ass card freezes "My Computer" when I try to open it, and I don't have the usb cable that plugs into my camera anymore >_>

And yeah I was also thinkin the Billet so When I changed to Midnight blue it would flow better?
What color KC's or HID's you think'd look good behind it?

splashs ended with gen 3's. 93-97 are the only years of splash you can have, 98+ are sports
