Default Rear Bumper cover...OEM vs aftermarket?

Hello-

The plastic cover on my rear bumper is looking quite hacked up on my 98 Ranger XLT Flareside, so I am looking to replace it. The have a OEM replacement for $100 and an aftermarket for $50 on eBay. Below are the links to the ads.

Has anyone replaced their rear bumper cover and had experiences with install/fitment? Is it worth the extra $50 to get OEM or will I not notice the difference?

Thanks, Rob

The table in the eBay ad says it's for "styleside" and it looks to be correct from the picture. Isn't styleside and flareside the same thing?

Thx, Rob

I replaced with the OEM replacement bumper step cover in the factory platinum color and it looks fantastic. Huge difference when looking at the truck from the rear.

I do have to stay it was a bit difficult getting the small clips to pop in. I ended up just taking off the tailgate and using my heel to get them to lock in.

Thx, Rob
