Default Bed Rail Coating

Just coated my bed in Herculiner, and have a bunch left over. I want to coat my bedrails too, but don't want to have as as much of the roughness that my bed . I was thinking of using rustoleum spray coating to do the rails, so it turns out smoother.

My question was, has anyone ever used the rustoleum coating? I want something that's going to last a while, not just chip after a year.
Anyone had experience with the Rustoleum coating?

I used the rustoleum spray can stuff, i do not recommend it, it dried out and started flaking pretty quickly. I used it on some 2x4s that I used to make a bike rack for the bed.

Thats what I've been hearing, too. Looks like I'll be straining the rubber out of the Herculiner.

I used Kyrlon Fusion on my bed rails... been that way for about a year and a half now without a problem.
