The autozone one may work for you, but the vleds.com one has never failed. | What part name or type is this on vleds.com? And do you think you could pm me a basic installation list or something. Or better yet, what modding would need to be done?

There are quite a few installation "how to" type threads on the conversion. I will get these tonight, but if you search "L1224R" you will come up with plenty of results. The trepaul one is one that comes to
I will need to also look tonight at the flashers on VLEDs so I can show you the one I am refering too.

do you still have LED sets available? if I'm following this thread and wording right, I believe I would need 4 LED's to outfit the entire back taillight housing...? in the selling of these retrofit kits does it come with a resistor for the LED's so they dont blink so fast like a Incandescent is out.

I have aftermarket tails with 2 spots for red bulbs so I needed 4 of them for my 04'. On the other hand my 03 still has the stock tail lights so I would only need 2.
You have to purchase your own flasher if you would like to eliminate the hyperflash. You can use resistors, but it is not the sexiest way of fixing the hyperflash for our trucks.

I would like to upgrade my Tailights with 03+ models or Euro tails. suggestions and thoughts? I want a sleek chrome look or dark smoke look to contrast the white truck.
I looked @ the EP27 VLED's, are they pretty cut and dry for installation? did you have any qualms? Thanks for your help

you can find aftermarket tail lights all over the internet. I have aftermarket 93-97 tails on my 04.

JP7,
Got the L1224R Tail Light & 3rd Brake Light Mod Kits in the mail today - thanks for the quick response.
As far as the "How To", I guess that this is the link to the directions, correct? http://www.cardomain.com/ride/530748/15
One difference that I see is that the "sacrificial" sockets in that link are gray plastic, whereas the ones included in the kit that I received are "plastic chrome", but that should not make any difference, correct?
And as far as the 3rd Brake Light is concerned, these are the instructions, correct? http://www.fordrangerforum.com/class...t-ever-il.html
How about for the front turn signals/parking lights & front side marker lights. What are people using for LED's to replace those?
Once again, Thanks for the help.
Mark
