Would definitely be interested in a front skid whenever you get them for sale.
Getting tired of ripping the plastic "radiator guard" thing off every time it snows.

Will your front skid mount up to a 2005 2wd edge? If so count me in on a front skid!

Yessir the skid should indeed mount up to an edge. Ive got on 02 edge 2wd I can test fit one on but those should be the exact same.

Soo... I take it I should get to building a few front plates??
Could probably have several ready by early next week...

Im just asking but would the front skid plate fit on a stock 01 2wd? or would drilling be required?

What truck are you currently putting them on? Does it have a torsion bar front suspension?

I definitely want one of each.

I have an 03 edge 4x4 so I started making them for that but Ive sold some to people with different years of 4x4 xlt's and what not but yes they all have the torsion bar suspension.

Im not sure if they will fit the stock height 2wd rangers or not but I would think they probably should. I can give you dimensions and hole locations if you want to check.

* They mount through the factory drilled holes that bolt the plastic radiator guard to the frame so no drilling should be necessary. Because there is no symetric holes on the front cross member between the wheels I drill two holes in the corners of the skid which you can then use self tapping screws to fasten it or drill small holes and bolt it. Since those arent integral to its structure its not necessarily mandatory and totally up to you...

I have a basic tube bumper on my truck, though this summer I plan on welding a stinger to it.

Im asking 80 for the transfer case which includes shipping and 125 for the front+ shipping. Thats about the lowest price I can do it for, im not making much just kind of doing it for fun at this point.

If you measure from the frame to the bottom of the crossmember between the front wheels it should be 9". Also there should be two mounting holes/(screws holding on plastic radiator guard), on either side of the frame starting approx 10" from the front of that crossmember. If so it will fit.
