Default reese style hitch

don't know what brand (selling for a friend) it's currently on a '95 asking $75.00
1999 MAZDA 2500SE, 2.5L 4-clanger, 5 speed, Green n slow. Rangers as daily drivers since 1988.

How old is it?
What class? I, II, III?
Is it a 2"?
How long has it been on that truck?
If it is a bolt on hitch that has been welded on, leave it alone.
If you can get it off, take it off, clean it, inspect it and find out what it really is.
Check for rust, inside and out and if you have any doubt at all about its integrity, cut it up and recycle it.
