So what is the news

Unfortunately not a lot has happened lately with my 3rdBL LED conversions... except I have some new ideas in the works, one "Super" special mod I'm starting for a member here (hope to get pics & vids of the progress as it comes along) and a Mega Super special LED mod that may be the brightest 3rdBL led mod I've ever even thought about... It's still in the planning stages, but once I have all the material needed & come up with a safe way to create the necessary heat sinks, I hope to get one of them finished before the end of the year.

I'm hoping to use the same technology in the mega super special 3rdBL led mod in some 06+ tinted tail lights for another member here (haven't forgot about the mod, just haven't been able to get started) that may very well blow away any plug-in or "OEM" mod. I don't have a light meter, so I can't accurately measure the output... but I can say it's difficult to look near the led elements without dark sunglasses or a welding helmet on.

I have a few cargo & all red ranger/mazda 3rdBL's waiting to be modded and a couple extra special ones that you'll have to wait to see later. If there's enough interest in the special ones, I'll definitely look into modding a few more of them as I'm able to.

Long time, no updates huh?!?!

Well at long last I have some more eye candy.
This is a special project I've been doing for a forum member here...















This the first of it's kind so far... a SUPERDUTY 3rd brake light led conversion!!

This one uses the newer style SuperFlux led's for both cargo lights & brakes.
It's incredibly bright & the SuperDuty housing has a very cool look to it... so cool that I had to find one for myself to mod (if I ever get time).

I hope to get some video of this bad boy edited & uploaded to my YouTube channel in the next few days so stay tuned.

If there's interest in this mod, I should be able to get more of the super duty lights... but they're much more expensive than the standard ranger brake lights

BONUS Bump!

I also have ONE All Red Ranger 3rdBL completed too.
This one uses my original 5mm LED's. While not as bright as the superflux LED's, this one is still way brighter than the stock light (even when using plug-in led's) and brighter than any of the "led 3rd brake lights" I've seen online.

It's late & I'm trying to thaw out from being out in the 40* garage tonight, so pics will have to wait a little while... but it looks like most of my other all red 3rdBL led conversions... it's been totally sanded & polished back to a squeaky clean finish, gasket refurbished & re-attached, sealed & siliconed up, even has an OEM Ford connector attached so all you need to do is plug it in & put on some sunglasses to enjoy.

I'd like to get $50 +sh for this one as it's a "BASE" model.

As I'm able I do plan on doing more of the SuperFlux versions of both all red & cargo lights as well as some top secret ideas I've had floating around for a while but haven't been able to get to.

Since the SuperDuty lights are much more expensive to start with, I decided to do them with SuperFlux LED's only for now (that is when I can afford to get a couple more to mod)
