I haven't been able to make any custom lettering or graphics as of yet.
The Ford script & oval are inset from the back side & I need to figure out how to make patterns in reverse and how to micro-route lexan without it melting.

I think it would be cool to get a rebel flag design in the emblem. with ford over the flag, May be hard to do though. Good work with all of these. =D

No luck with the gel ovals, but I do have some 5 3/4" wide & 7" wide ovals that I CAN mod

If you have either of those sizes, you should be able to use one of my "old" ovals.
The ovals I have came off older vehicles (the type of ovals I can mod) but a few guys have them on newer trucks, especially the 5 3/4" ovals.
They're getting harder to find & about half of them break during disassembly

The only oval I haven't had any success with is the 9" wide one.

I'm thinking the 2010's have that big 9" oval on grille & tailgate....
If you get a chance, get the measurements to make sure. Hopefully it will be the smaller ovals...I haven't been able to find any 9" ovals that I'm able to mod yet.

I think some of the ovals I have came from mid to late 80's vehicles.

For an extra $10 per oval, I'll do my super special mod where I remove all the chrome from the mounting base, sand & paint the bare plastic. It adds several hours to the process, but I feel like the paint is less likely to chip off the bare plastic than it would be on the chrome.

I haven't had any issues with the painted chrome ovals I've done, but you never know when you might get hit with a rock or road debris.

Small update:

Just finished this pair of 7" ovals for a R/F member...





The pics don't do them justice. The background is a slightly metallic silver & the script/oval/base are black gloss.

I like these so well, I'm going to make a smaller set for MY truck!
