Default Side and rear louvers, sun/moon visor, wind breakers

So like the title says, I'm looking for a few things.

Extended cab side window louvers.
Rear window louvers for sliding window.
Wind breaker/deflectors.
Sun/moon visor. Would prefer one without lights but I'll take what I can get.

That's about it! Let me know if you have what I want and I'll make you an offer.

http://www.willpak.com/products/rear-window-louvers/ You will need Willpak part # 8048 or 5048 depending on the style you want.. This part # will fit 94 through 2013 extended cab model ranger pickups.. I just have ordered the Willpak 8048 for my 97 model ranger Through Autoaccessoriesgarage.com for 99.00 + free shipping.. I've added pics of what the louvers looks like.. The 5048 is the Louver that is opened in the middle, Both of these are for sliding glass windows.. http://www.autoaccessoriesgarage.com...Window-Louvers

Does anyone actually have one of these on their rangers?

Seems cool but would love to see someone on here actually post pictures on their truck.

Thanks,

PLEASE post pictures.. I'd love to see how this looks on the truck. One reviewer said that the cover didn't fit the entire window and there was a gap.

Does your hinge up as well? Very curious on how this would look.

Thanks,
-Nigel

This is what it looks like on my Truck, The louver raises up but as you can tell on my truck it don't raise up to high due to the roll bars, But it goes up high enough for me to clean the window.. The window louver fit perfect on my truck.

Dude I love that! How exactly does yours attach to the rear window? Is it 3m metal brackets on the window then the louver is attached to the metal brackets, or is it simply 3m tape all on the louver and then attached to the glass?

Also in your post about the different models of louvers, one of them looks like there is missing slats on the 3rd picture for the sliding window? Which is model 5048. However I can't find the model 8048 as you listed? I have attached a picture. Do you mean 5040?
Looking at the description on a lot of these it lists as extended cab but I was almost 100% positive the rear windows on single cab/extended cab are the same? Minus different years maybe?

Do you have a sliding rear window? I much prefer your solid rear louver, as opposed to one that is slightly open which looks sort of unfinished/not complete.

More requests (sorry). Can you post pictures closer showing the louver and also possibly an inside looking out the back view.

I'm about two clicks away form purchasing it on Amazon. Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure I get the right one for my 01' single cab with sliding window.

EDIT: Appears your link has the part number but for whatever reason the attached picture that I found doesn't. Quite odd. I'm going with your link.

If your window looks the same as mine with a sliding glass and your wanting the solid full piece louver then you will need part # 8048 1998-2013 Ranger (all sizes) Sliding Window, Hinged Hardware, Full Louver across window.. Here is the website I bought mine from.. http://www.autoaccessoriesgarage.com...&set-vehicle=1.. The louver comes with the hinged brackets for the top of window and plain brackets for the bottom of window.. On the back of the brackets is two strips of 3M tape.. It's very simple and easy to apply since the 3M tape is only on the brackets.. The instruction does say that tape bond will take 24 hours to cure.. It says not to install louver for the 24 hour period after the 3M taped mounting brackets are installed and curing on the window.. Once the 24 hours is up then you can mount the louver to the brackets.. I will take more pics of the louver today and post them this evening..

Here is the best I could do with getting a pic from the inside without all the glare.. You can see pretty good though the louver from the inside out..

Awesome thank you!

Honestly I love it. Any issues with backing up due to visibility? Doesn't seem too bad from your inside pictures.

Edit:
May sound like a dumb question, but do you have any wind noise or buffeting when the rear window is open due to the louver? Kinda like when a sub roof is open and makes that wind noise that sounds like a thumping noise.

Edit 2:
Is there a chance you can snap a photo close up of the louver next to the default window trim? Does it sit flush with it or does it bumped out? I only ask since looking at the side of the picture/exterior window it doesn't seem flush but I could be making it seem worse in my head..lol

Thanks again for the pictures!

Nigel

I've not got any wind noise with mine.. Here is a couple pics of the louver against the window trim.. It does not set sit flush to the window due to the brackets that holds it on..

Default Re: Side and rear louvers, sun/moon visor, wind breakers

Clinton's truck is more or less what I'm planning to do with mine.

Right now on my shopping list I have wade external vent visor/deflectors, avs side louvers, willpak rear louvers, roll bars, brush guards, lund style cab sun visor, 15x10 deep dish soft 8 style rims, 3" PA body lift, prekey mod, and mickey thompson baja mtz 33x12 tires. I expect to pay about $2500-3000 to get all of this done.

Want it to look as redneck as possible.

You know what, I completely forgot about this. About to order it. Forgot to ask if you are still able to open the rear sliding rear window. Looks like you can and it doesn't interfer with it at all but wanted to make 100% sure so that way I don't get pissed after it's installed to find out I can't open my rear slider...lol

Thanks,
-Nigel

Incase anyone else is interested. Also went with the same rear window lover as posted above. I did a little different mounting since I didn't like the gap the stock upper hinge mounts caused. I tapped out the pins, dremeled part of the hinge so it was just the mounting pegs. That way the louver would sit flush with the window instead of having the upper gap.

Hope that helps.
