Default Clear Taillights (not "EuroClears" or "Alteza")

I have been looking for clear taillights (not the "EuroClear" or "Alteza" type. The lens is entirely clear plastic (similar to the clear plastic used for OEM reverse lights). There is no red reflective plastic. Yes, I realize that these aren't legal. I think they would look great on my white Ranger with the red LEDs. Does anyone have some, or know where I can find them? Thanks y'all!

Here is what they look like...

They were a really popular aftermarket upgrade when I was in high school (late 90's and early 2000's). Then the Euroclears came out and became the most popular aftermarket taillights. This particular picture might be of a custom, one-off project; but, I know for certain that these taillights used to be available. This picture came from an old classified thread from this forum, posted in 2011.

I know they are out there, I am hoping someone here has some buried in there garage.

I remember them. Those will be hard to find, but I do like them on white trucks.

Another option might be to buy the euro ones, take them apart and remove the red pieces.

There is also a set of Oxford white led tails in the classifieds, if you haven't seen them yet.

Good luck!

I saw those, I'd love to have them, but they are a bit more than I want to spend. I considered getting the Euroclears and removing the red reflectors, but I really like the look of the old clear lights. I think they would disperse light better than a modified Euroclear.

Probably right. And depending on the euro trail it might look bad without the red. It just sucks because those were the thing to have, then altezzas came out, gained popularity and the all clear became obselete fast. Probably some dot issues too. I've always liked them better than the euros, not so "loud"

Exactly. They weren't DOT approved, as they didn't have any red reflectors, which are required by law, at least in CA anyway. I always loved them. At the time, I was driving a 74 F100, and they didn't make custom taillights. I bought a 97 Ranger at 18 (in 2002 I think). The taillights were still available then, but I couldn't find a company willing to ship them to CA, as they were illegal in CA. I think I called every company that advertised in Truckin' and Mini Truckin', haha. None of them would ship to me in CA, even when I told them it was for a pre-runner that was strictly for off-road use only. They didn't buy my story, haha. Anyway, I'm still looking!
