You mean the most expensive LOL. I like that one but i really wasnt in the market for a full topper. I really would like some more info on that OEM lid.....

But if i could it for like 80 bucks i think it would be a good deal....? Gonna go look at it today. He said that it needs a new cable on the locking mechanism so i got some wiggle room on the price i think. I guess we will see.

No because thy usually take them off. The fold system usually fails or the lock and you can't but replacment parts for it. I wouldn't ever buy one

I've never played with one personally (i have a soft cover, and regret not having bought a hard one), but generally (if not all the time) OEM parts are of much higher quality than aftermarket parts. Didn't know that one was broken though.

The reason i'd buy a tonneau cover like that versus certain truck caps is its not hideous like a mismatched truck cap (of colour and shape). Plus the cap looked strong as hell, so less chance of breaking it, which is a moot point now .

Some people pay upwards than 1k for a one piece cover, i thought it was cool to see one that opened in 2. Plus it looks the same colour ar part of my bumpers, my rails and my steps, so no need for a costly paint job.

Don't forget that the cap may be white, but it doesn't mean you won't have to re-paint it.

personally i HATE truck caps i think they are ugly and totally ruin a trucks look i would go for a a tonneau cover if i where going to get any sort of bed cover but thats just my opinion
