So, I've got an '08 XLT chrome grille, and I want an '06-'09 Redfire Metallic, or paintable grille. I can't bring myself to try to ruin this one trying to paint it, so I was hoping someone had red and wanted chrome, or at least had a paintable one.

I don't want a textured one, but I'll take either the bar type or the mesh type. Don't really care. I like body-colored stuff.

I can't help you with the switch, but I say give it a shot! I remember the first time I wanted to paint something on/in my truck, or the first big mod when something had to be cut. I cringed a little at first, but after I saw how cool it was and knowing that I did it... it was worth it. If you need any help with doing that, I'm sure someone could walk you through it.
