2 40 flowmasters

i have a 1996 ranger and thinking about putting two 40 seriers flowmaster on it and running duals just let me know what u think

I would just get a dual outlet flowmaster 40 so you would only need 1, if you planning on running true duals I don't advise it I had them on my 97 (4.0)and it sounded like crap plus it didnt feel as responsive.

thanks for the information and i am going to run either one and y it or two but the guy before me had duals on it with two differnet mufflers so it cant sound any worses lol

I cant really explain it but I had true duals on a 97 Ranger with a 4.0 and it just sounded hollow its the only way I can explain it, I had it put back to a single pipe out of the motor thru the cats then dualed after the flowmaster and it just sounded so much better.

yea was going to buy that muffle and then i got these two muffler free so yea i wish the guy i got the truck off didnt put the true duals on it cause it would be easyier just to y it off after the muffler
