I have a 3.0 V6 and im going to put an exhaust on it this week. I cant decide between the flowmaster 50 series delta flow and the 40 series delta flow. I am also considering a super 44 but I just cant make up my mind. Anyone have history with thes exhausts and any pros and cons about them?

Well the deltas are made to be a little more mellow...the supper 44 is not.

i recently got a 40 series and dumped it under the bed. sounds good to me. you can hear it from the inside pretty well. i sort of wish i got the 44 cause it would have been a little louder but oh well. heres a video i made. it sounds better when i actually drive it around (you dont get that crackling sound).

it does sound pretty good. i might go with the super 44 though because that sounds a little quiet.

yeah i should have gone with the 44. oh well. maybe ill get one in a couple years. i just got this one and am still pretty happy about it.

i say no the 50 series! that will def be to quite for the 3.0. i was going to get that and the guy who did my exhaust and he laughed at me said really? he has been putting exhaust on since the 60's he knows what he is doing. i say super 44 or any 40 series, delta flow all of them are good. here is mine original 40 series

So i ended up going with the 40 series. 2 1/2 inch from the cat back. it sounds great. exactly what i was looking for. maybe ill post up a picture to show how good i tucked it up in there.
