Like I said I grew up in the big block days and drove a 63 1/2 427 Galaxy 500 fastback, 4 speed, a 12 second car. This was back in the 70's and only the wannabe's used glass packs even back in the day. Most ran thrush racing mufflers but not the glass packs or cherry bombs. Being LOUD is not the idea and this day and age is actually against the law. You want that deep low purr of power not the LOUD noise of the trailer park gang.

This is a system from the 70's BIG BLOCK days

yeah i checked out a few youtube videos and it seems that the longer the glasspack is, the deeper the sound is, and it's not as ricey

Just to throw this out there...cherrybomb makes mufflers that aren't glasspacks that sound and work great.

True and the difference between a real muffler and a cherry bomb glass pack are only 20.00 or so.

You should always have a pipe after to direct the exhaust from under the vehicle

the extreme should sound good, never heard one in person on a 4cyl though I love mine. Just weld it in and at the very least put some turn downs on the exit.
