So i'm going to replace my muffler with a thrush turbo to add a little sound to the truck. I've been told that the inlet and outlets are 2", but after reading through all of the post on here, i'm not sure what to go with. I'm not planning on welding it on, just going to use some muffler glue shit i saw a friend once use and clamp it. I dont mind having to buy some extra pipeing to make it fit. But could someone help me going about this. Should i get 2" or the 2.5"? and what size piping should i get to fit around it? Its a 2003, 3.0 v6! Thankss

I believe the pipes are 2.25. At least thats what my 05 with a 3L was. If your not going to weld just use some band clamps ----

Best to weld it tho, The amount of money you will spend on clamps and other supplies will prob be what it cost to take the muffler up to a shop and have them weld it on .02

Thanks for the advice man! I finally decided to quit planning and thinking about it and just do it. So me and my friend took a saw to it and threw a thrush turbo up in there. Turned out being 2" pipes! I'm not sure why, maybe because its a flex fuel?..... no clue lol. BTW thrush turbo sounds awesome, just that little rumble i wanted, but could be a little louder in my opinion!

My 1993 ranger has 2in pipes. The outlet at the very end behind the rear tire was 2.25in, but everything else was 2.0
I have a 2in in 2in out glasspack on my ranger
