I have a 98, 2.5L, 2wd
with 157K. I justed changed my EGR
and getting the valve off was not big problem. Just 2 bolts and it will come off, but you have to get it off the EGR
tube that runs to the exhaust manifold. Mine was rusted tight and I have to break the tube off the manifold and replace the valve, tube and the connector to the manifold. Auto parts stores carry the valve but only dealerships carry the tube and the connector.. Check your Chilton (if you have one). Its not that hard but it is work...
1998 2.5L 4 cyclinder, rear wheel drive, basic model, no thrills, manual windows, no keyless entry, 157K miles.
