Default Exhaust cutouts

Has anyone ever put cutouts on their truck? If so did they leak? I'm thinking about doing this but i'm not sure on how well they seal.

depends on the kind you get. The ones that you have to unscrew 3 wingnuts seal well. but i hear the cable operated ones dont seal as well. I have 2 brand new cabel operated ones if interested.

well i have one of the wingnut ones (found it one the road lol) so all would need to do is get some gaskets but I would probably put one of those electric valve things on it....

ive heard good and bad about the electric ones. some have good luck with sealing and some without. so i think its just a gamble. I have seen quite a few cars with those. that are pretty sweet. but have a big price tag.
