Default 2000 Ford Ranger 4.0l Exhaust

Hey guys, been a while since I posted. But, I bought a ranger a while back. After I fix the little engine problems and rust, I am going to put a full exhaust on it. What do you guys recommend? What is the best flow, sound, and priced one?

This sticky should give you all sorts of that general info: **OFFICIAL** Exhaust Video Thread

Tons of that info around here - search a little and it should help narrow things down.

anything with a Flowmaster Delta Flow 40 dual out muffler. But like all other mods it's all based on preference and what kind of sound your looking for.

I'd go on youtube and listen to different setups and see which one you like best.

Agreed on the YouTube idea. Just make sure you have a good set of headphones that deliver a bass you can hear, not tinny sounding phone speakers!

I had the Gibson 2.5 inch full cat back so quite!!! Almost sounded stock. Well after a while my tail pipe off so now I run a flow master super 44 2.5 inch cat back bumped under the box with a 4 inch tip I like the flow master a bit louder than stock but not to loud

2001 4.0l sohc v6 4*4 77,000 motor swap (last owner never changed oil), brush guard off road lights, intake, flowmaster exhaust, painted intake/valve covers, fisher plow.

2001 /4.0L SOHC and the Flowmaster Super 10 dual catback, is outstanding/if you leave the stock cats installed

Mine sounds much better than the Flowmaster 40 dual catback in my jeep-
