Default New Cat =^..^=

Last owner of my truck had the cat swiped out from under the truck (which isn't that uncommon around these parts)

So I did some googling and found a Made in the USA direct fit setup from Flowmaster for under $165.00 after taxes and shipping! Amazon Prime FTW!!!

This will greatly increase my chances of passing emissions in October!

You should make one of these if theft is a problem in your area.

Why not just run no cats? Unless you failed emissions

Likely a stupid question, but why would someone spend the time to steal a cat off someones truck? Is this common? We don't even lock or remove our keys, this is something I've never heard of.

I've heard of it happening before - certain areas I guess. I would take that as a sign that it was time to just move. lol

Scrap yards pay $$$ for catalytic converters($50-$150 depending on setup)

It has to have a =^..^= in place and no CEL's to pass inspection in my part of the world.... Inspection is due next month.

Yep someone must have figured it was any easy way to some fast cash. Was gone when I bought it the previous owner had a test pipe on it. (Straight Pipe)

Everything cool I buy says that. Gives me more reason to never want to go there. Ever.

The irony is that California is "supposed" to be a car lover/enthusiast state .
